About the Cablecast Theme

This site is an example of how PEG stations and site builders can build WordPress powered sites with Cablecast. It uses the following plugins and themes.

  • Cablecast Plugin – A WordPress Plugin that manages syncing content between Cablecast and WordPress.
  • Cablecast Theme – A starter WordPress theme that nicely displays Cablecast Shows and provides some useful short codes for creating galleries of content.
  • Restrict Content – A plugin that can manage memberships and restrict some or all content to users with an active membership. With this and the Cablecast Plugin it’s simple to build a membership portal or paywall.
  • Cablecast Extras Plugin – A WordPress plugin that adds extra functionality to the Cablecast Theme with a News and Partners section. You can add these sections anywhere on your site with a shortcode.
